This page explains how the CMU QPA Calculator handles information. It is an independent tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Carnegie Mellon University.
Data on your device
Course and semester data you enter or import is stored only in your browser (local storage). Academic-record PDFs are parsed in your browser and are never uploaded. There are no accounts, no server-side copies of your grades or transcripts, and no analytics or advertising SDKs on this site. This calculator does not use AI.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process standard request data. Fonts and PDF.js are self-hosted.
Deleting your data
Use Clear All on the calculator, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
